Mr. Scharf is Chief Executive Officer of Desert Gold and has been involved with the company since 2010 and has been a director since 2015. His background is in corporate finance and public markets. Prior to working with Desert Gold, Mr. Scharf worked for ITM Corporation, a Toronto-based asset management firm, where he was involved in the development of a variety of companies ranging from gold and geothermal projects in Latin and South America to oil and gas projects in Eastern Europe.

Larry Tsang, CPA

Mr. Tsang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (Accounting) from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Canada and served as a senior accountant for four years with Ernst and Young LLP, Vancouver, Canada. His experience includes more than 18 years working in auditing, accounting, taxation, and finance for both private and public companies. Mr. Tsang is currently also the CFO of Sierra Growth Corp.
Diallo Cheick Ousmane

Mr. Diallo is a distinguished mining professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in gold and base metals exploration and production within the highly regarded Birimian greenstone belt in West Africa and the Arabian Shield in Saudi Arabia. His career has spanned several senior roles at leading companies, including Avocet Mining, Centamin, and Acacia/Barrick Gold, where he has made significant contributions to the industry.
Notably, he was part of the discovery team of the Hounde Vindaloo deposit in Burkina Faso and contributed to the resource enhancement of the Inata Gold Mine in Burkina Faso. Ousmane holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the esteemed University of Ouagadougou and is an active member of the Society of Economic Geology (SEG) and the Ordre des Géologues du Burkina, further demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence in the field.
Sonny Janda

Mr. Sonny Janda holds the Executive Chairman and Director position with Desert Gold Ventures Inc. and has been involved with the company and the company’s operations since 2010. Mr. Janda’s experience ranges from operational and financial management, to business development and capital procurement strategy.
He holds notable board positions with Sierra Growth Corp. and Grand Peak Capital Corp. Mr. Janda concurrently serves as Director of the Janda Group, a family owned business developing various types of real estate assets including commercial, office, industrial, mixed-use, residential and agricultural. Mr. Janda earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University.

Chris Marsh, CFA

Mr. Marsh is the President of Blockchain Foundry. Previously, Chris spent 8 years at Richardson GMP and GMP Securities in Toronto, Canada, as an investment banker and corporate development executive. He also spent four years in London, England where he worked in corporate finance and asset management.
Mr. Marsh is a CFA charter holder and holds a Masters in Finance degree from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
Doug Engdahl, P.Geo.

Mr. Engdahl has over 20 years of experience managing various companies with over 16 years of geological experience in both junior and major exploration and mining sectors across North America and in Africa.
His extensive mineral exploration experience has been focused on data compilation and interpretation, drill target generation and drill program management, as well as resource and mine modeling with focus on structural geology and resource calculations. Mr. Engdahl has extensive Athabasca Basin resource experience having previously spent over eight years working as a Senior Mine Geologist on Cameco Corporation’s McArthur River Mine, the largest high-grade uranium mine in the world.
Ty Magee
M.Sc., P.Geo.
Ty is a Senior Exploration Manager with Axiom Group. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013 and his M.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. He is registered as a Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and Newfoundland (PEGNL).
Ty has worked in all over Canada and international on multiple projects from grassroots to brownfields exploration on various styles of deposits including Epithermal, Porphyry, VMS, SEDEX, MVT, Sediment-Hosted Au systems, and REE in pegmatites. His exploration experience has mainly been focused on data compilation, QA/QC and sampling methods, geological mapping and prospecting, modelling, exploratory geochemical data analysis, project planning and targeting, and technical writing.
Brent Jellicoe

Brent holds a B.Sc. (Hon.) in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a professionally accredited mineral exploration and evaluation Geologist (Pr.Sci.Nat. (Geology) and MGSSA in Africa, and as a P.Geo. in Saskatchewan and has 33 years of diverse domestic and international mineral exploration experience in the field and in executive management positions. Mr. Jellicoe currently is the Chief Geologist for the Axiom Exploration Group in Canada.
Brent has a strong background in domestic and international Geological Consultancy that provides senior exploration expertise and project management experience including Due Diligence studies, all aspects of drilling and exploration programs, and integration of project geoscience specialist investigations. He is a recognized Qualified/Competent Person for kimberlite diamond, Rare Earth Element exploration, and granite-related intrusive rare metal (Li, Ta, Nb, Sn) deposits. Most of Mr Jellicoe’s career work since 2011 was focused on provision of multi-commodity exploration and evaluation services in Southern Africa, Brazil, Greenland, Canada and focus on Due Diligence reporting for global mining consultants in Australia. Brent finds happiness in consistently expanding his working knowledge of gold, copper, and chromite systems, and for pegmatite & carbonatite REEs, and associated Rare Metals. Overarching his commodities experience, Brent is highly skilled in terms of utilizing CIM Best Practices in exploration project design, management, and code-compliant techno-economic reporting (NI43-101 and JORC) at the Conceptual, Preliminary Economic Assessment, Pre-feasibility, and Feasibility levels
