Vancouver, B.C. –Desert Gold Ventures Inc. (“Desert Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results of its Annual General Meeting held January 7th, 2011. The shareholders re-elected Ayub Khan, Thomas Tough, Sonny Janda, Eugene Beukman and Brian G. Thurston as directors of the company for the upcoming year.

The directors appointed the following officers of the Company: Brian Thurston as President and Chief Executive Officer, Jared Scharf as Chief Financial Officer, and Lorraine Pike as Corporate Secretary.

All other resolutions submitted by management to the shareholders for consideration were approved as presented.
